Josie Serigne

Teacher & Choreographer

Josie Serigne is a native of St. Bernard, LA and has been dancing for over 17 years, as well as instructing for 3. She is currently in the process of earning a Juris Doctor Degree from Louisiana State University Law Center; she holds a Bachelor's in English Literature and Language from Southeastern Louisiana University. While at Southeastern, she was a member of the nationally ranked Lionettes Dance Team, as well as an instructor/choreographer for several local dance schools. Her choreography has placed and won at numerous competitions such as Star Power, NYCDA, Showbiz, etc. 

Although teaching is her primary focus, Josie has had numerous personal accomplishments in the industry. Upon graduating high school, Josie was accepted and given a full scholarship to both AMDA performing arts conservatory and Columbia College Chicago. In 2013, Josie was among the few chosen to dance in the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show behind Beyonce Knowles. More recently, she was chosen as a dance extra in the upcoming film Pitch Perfect 2. Josie plans to continue educating young dancers and assisting them in reaching their full potential.
