Desiree

Teacher & Choreographer

From Destrehan Louisiana, Desiree has acquired seven years of dancing in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, and hip hop. She was a KKD assistant teacher for one year and is thrilled to be going in her fourth year of teaching. Desiree graduated from Destrehan High School in 2013 where she was highly active in the nationally ranked Desty Darlings Dance Team for four years, winning many group and solo awards, also serving as lieutenant. Desiree currently works for the company American All-Star where she works with junior high, high school, and college dance teams as well as judging many competitions. She now attends Southeastern Louisiana University where she is majoring in Sports and entertainment management with a minor in marketing and dance. She is a member of the Dance Performance Project at Southeastern where she choreographs and performs different styles of dance each semester. She is member of Flip Side; a hip hop based dance club at SLU and is an active member of the sorority Alpha Sigma Tau. Desiree has a passion for teaching and strives to push each student past their limits. She has an eye for detail and works hard to create fun and clean routines. She is excited to see what each year brings and watch her students grow tremendously throughout the years.
