Teacher and ChoreographerBorn in Columbus Ohio and raised in the outskirts of New Orleans, LA Kelli’s passion for the arts began at the young age of six. She attended her very first dance class and knew this was something she had to do! She trained in tap, jazz and ballet for 12 years and danced competitively for 6 years winning several regional and national overall awards. She then began to teach and choreograph competition numbers while introducing the style of lyrical to both junior and senior levels and went on to see her numbers win countless 1st place overall awards both regionally and nationally. She has had the privilege to see one of her production numbers televised on E Entertainment television. Kelli’s numbers have won several top choreography awards and special judges awards.


Upon opening up her own studio 15 years ago her success continued as she was invited to be a judge for several competitions throughout the US. Every one of her students that have ever auditioned for NOCCA (New Orleans Center for Creative Arts) have been accepted and have gone on to further their dance education in a variety of dance subjects. Her students have won countless awards and scholarships to esteemed institutions such as the Joffrey Ballet and The Edge Performing Performing Arts Center in Hollywood. Several of her students have gone on to college to major in dance while continuing to work with and study under professional dancers. Some of her former students have had the honor of becoming LSU Golden Girls, Tiger Girls and members of The Ragin Cajun dance team for ULL. Some of which had the honor of becoming captains of those teams. She has had some of her former students become members of the New Orleans Saints Saintsations and the New Orleans Hornets Honeybees. One of her previous dancers is currently dancing in Los Angeles, California as “Betty Boop” in Cirque du soleil “Iris.”

Kelli has worked with several local dance teams continuing their education through technique, conditioning and performance and continues to do so with the Destrehan High School national award winning Destys.

Her greatest accomplishment is her 6 children, Dryden, Brinley, Ryland, Remney, Brodyn and her (angel Baylen). Kelli’s fourth child Remney was born with Down syndrome and she and her husband have become big advocates on raising awareness for Down syndrome and help to promote inclusion for individuals with special needs. Kelli’s goal for her students is to push them to be the best they can be while instilling her love and passion for dance in hopes every student will take a little piece of that with them for whatever goals and dreams they pursue!
